For the past few months I have been eating pastries for breakfast and lunch, cookies and ice cream for dinner. I have a very active job, but my pants don’t fit anymore. Obviously. It’s 80% nutrition, 10% genetics, and 10% exercise. Last time I weighed myself (a month ago) I was 142 at 5’9. Two summers ago I was 132 (and I was only eating 200 calories, if that, everyday). I’m missing feeling thin, yet healthy, and in control so I sat down and made up a menu of options (I’ll only eat one from each meal). It may seem like a lot, but it’s better than chocolate brioche and cinnamon sugar rolls. Breakfast pouch of instant breakfast with organic skim milk sugar-free chocolate syrup, 1/2 banana, organic skim milk, 1/2 container of organic plain yogurt, and a small amount of peanut butter (made into a smoothie) low-fat muffin -weight watchers Lunch fruit salad (anything in season) 100 calorie almond pack low-fat crackers with one wedge of laughing cow cheese Dinner tomato, cucumber salad fake chicken sand which on pita lean cuisine/smart one veggie burrito salad with fake chicken and low-fat dressing Snack low-fat chocolate pudding strawberries with dark chocolate popcorn with a few junior mints low-fat yogurt Throughout the day I’ll drink a ton of water and one bottle of pellegrino.
